Q. What type of affiliate hyperlinks would I be able to place on my web site?
A. You can either link straight to the order form, or to our home page, or, in fact, to any URL (for example, you may want to link to the file download location). The Affiliate Control Panel provides all the necessary tools to generate the hyperlinks of your choice.

Q. Can you guarantee that if a customer clicks on my affiliate hyperlink and eventually places the order, I will always get my commission?
A. No, we cannot give you a 100% guarantee, and let us explain why:

• Since this program uses cookies, it won't work if a customer disables cookies in his browser, or if he uses some sort of cookie-cutting software.
• A customer may place a phone or fax order, or issue a Purchase Order, in which case there is no way to attribute this sale to you.
• A customer may place an order with one of our resellers, in which case there is also no way to attribute this sale to you.
• Not all of the orders placed from our web site are processed by Element 5. We process some of the orders via another company, RegNow. However, the percentage of such orders is low, and only the least expensive products are being sold via RegNow. So the lion's share of orders is routed via Element 5. We want you to be aware of this fact to avoid any misunderstanding.
  

However, these facts shouldn't discourage you, because you would be credited for a vast majority of the sales referred by you.

Q. Who reports to and handles the payments to affiliates?
A. Element 5 handles reporting and payment of the commission to you. The Payment Report is sent out to the affiliate on the 8th of the month for the previous month's sales. Payment is made monthly on the 15th of the month for the previous month's earnings, provided the affiliate reaches the minimum payment amount of 100 USD/EUR or 70 GBP in commission earnings. If the minimum amount is not reached within the month, the total is carried over to the next month and added to the next payment.

Q. Which payment methods and currencies can the affiliates choose?
A. Affiliates can receive payments either by Direct Deposit, check or wire transfer, in either USD, EUR or GBP.

Q. What information do affiliates receive on their sales?
A. Affiliates have access to sales reports in the Affiliate Control Panel. They can view sales by sales period, and see the status of their earnings. Element 5 does not provide the customer data to the affiliate as this is the property of the software publisher.
